As a student, most of my projects have been for specific target groups. But for this project I purely focused on how I personally would like the product to be. I tend to prefer products which are not gender focused, therefor I always try to find the right blend between hard edges and soft curves. This cup was made to be
fragile, elegant and light but at the same time appear and feel sturdy. The handle is thin but shaped to pleasantly hold the cup with the inside of your index finger. The wide stripe of the handle reappears at the edge of the saucer to make the two objects feel as one.
